DashKart

Ten-minute grocery delivery, as a job and as a business.

NPC customers order groceries from dark stores across Los Santos and Blaine County. Riders pick the items off the shelves, ride the order out on a rental scooter and hand it over at the door, racing a 10-minute promise. Players can buy the stores, set prices and payroll, hire riders and restock from a wholesale warehouse.

How it plays

One script, three ways in. Everyone works from the same in-game tablet.

Riders

Clock in at the store, take a rental scooter and work the order board from the tablet.

  • Orders follow the in-game clock, with breakfast, lunch, evening and late-night peaks.
  • Pick every item off the marked shelves, bag it, and stow the order in the scooter's delivery bag.
  • Ride to one of 72 doors checked in game and hand the bag to the customer waiting outside.
  • Rating, on-time streaks and earnings are calculated on the server and shown on the tablet.

Store owners

Buy a dark store and grow it into a business your riders work for.

  • Set prices within limits and the rider payroll; hire and fire riders, staff get first pick.
  • Restock by paid delivery, or drive the wholesale van yourself and skip the fee.
  • Revenue chart, live orders, stock and a full ledger in the My store app.
  • Money moves at the counter by default, so cash handling stays in roleplay.

Admins

Watch the whole economy from the same tablet, with no extra resource.

  • Daily NPC budget, stores, live orders, rider leaderboard and searchable logs.
  • Assign owners, correct balances and force-cancel orders, every change audited.
  • Discord webhooks per channel, including exploit flags with the reason.

Everything in 1.0.1

The full feature list, grouped. The docs cover every setting behind it.

NPC order engine

  • Demand follows the in-game clock and scales with the riders on duty at each store.
  • Realistic baskets from weighted templates like breakfast, chai time and movie night, filtered by real stock.
  • 72 delivery doors across the city and Blaine County; add your own in game with /dk_dropadd.
  • Customers wait at the door, spawn only when the rider is close and leave after the handover.
  • Events on arrival such as a big tip, nobody answering, the wrong gate, a rude customer or a bulk order.

Rider job

  • Automatic uniform per gender, with hooks for illenium-appearance and EUP.
  • Rental scooter or van with a deposit; keys and fuel go through your own scripts.
  • Shelf picking with a marker on every shelf that holds the order's items.
  • Big van orders are packed into several bags and handed over trip by trip.

Stores and economy

  • Stores are defined by coordinates only, so they work with vanilla shops or any MLO.
  • Stock is reserved when an order is placed and consumed when it is packed.
  • Customers pay the store; the store pays its riders and keeps the margin.
  • Wholesale warehouse with paid delivery or a timed van run; city stores restock themselves.

Tablet app

  • Rider, My store and Admin apps in one tablet, opened with an item or F6.
  • Exports and events for phone scripts, so riders can clock in and open DashKart from their phone.
  • Night and day themes, an order sound, and a live map that follows the real roads.
  • English, Hindi and Telugu, with one typeface that renders all three natively.

Security and logs

  • The client only sends intents; prices, payouts, distances and timers are server-side.
  • Every network event and tablet call is rate-limited and type-checked.
  • AFK detection, route-time checks, cooldowns, hourly earning caps and an optional daily NPC budget.
  • Batched, rate-limit aware Discord webhooks for orders, payouts, stores, admin actions and exploits.

Works with what you run

DashKart checks for these on start, in this order, and uses the first one it finds. Nothing to configure unless you want to force a choice.

Install in 5 steps

The full guide, with every config file explained, is in the docs.

  1. Copy both folders

Put dashkart and dashkart_props in your resources. Keep the dashkart folder name; the tablet export uses it.

  2. Add them to server.cfg

Start DashKart after ox_lib, oxmysql, your framework and your inventory, target, keys and fuel scripts.

    ensure oxmysql
    ensure ox_lib
    ensure qbx_core # or qb-core / es_extended
ensure ox_inventory # your inventory, target, keys, fuel ...
    ensure dashkart_props
    ensure dashkart
  3. Give admins the panel

The admin app opens with /dashkart admin.

    add_ace group.admin dashkart.admin allow
  4. Add the tablet item

It is the only item DashKart uses. Copy-paste definitions for every inventory are in the docs.

  5. Start the server

Tables are created and updated automatically, and the console lists the adapter it picked for each integration.

New in 1.0.1

Released .

  • An integration API for phones and other scripts, with exports for clock in and out, duty status, stores and opening the tablet.
  • Optional remote clock in and out, refused while an order or a rental is still active.
  • Big van orders are packed in rounds; pack a load, carry it to the van, then come back for the rest.
  • The van unlocks after 25 completed deliveries (configurable), so new riders start on the scooter.
  • Riders are told when the free tablet can't be given because their inventory is full, and customers carry every bag inside.

Questions

Not answered here? Ask on Discord.

Is DashKart really free?

Yes. There is no paid tier. Config files, translations and the custom framework template stay open and editable.

My framework isn't QBox, QBCore or ESX. Can I still use it?

Yes. Fill in the custom framework template (about ten small functions) and DashKart runs on it. The docs walk through every function.

Can players order groceries as customers?

Not in 1.0. All customers are NPCs, so the job works on quiet servers too. Player customers are planned for a later version.

Why can't store owners withdraw money from the tablet?

By design, money moves only at the store counter so cash handling stays in roleplay. One config switch allows it remotely.

The DashKart tee is invisible on my server.

FiveM streams add-on clothing only for Element Club Argentum keys or servers with 10 slots or fewer. Switch the uniform to a vanilla torso in the config, or see the assets guide.
